Candidate Profile Steve Attrill
My History
I am Steve Attrill, a married man 37 years of age. My wife, daughter & I live in Glasshouse.
I have run my own successful business for the last four years. Prior to that I was a qualified financial planner with Suncorp in Caloundra & Beerwah for years.
As a local resident and member of various community groups, I have been active in the community for many years. My interest in local issues increased with the railway upgrade, the Baroon Pocket to Morayfield pipeline and the effects of the Beerwah Railway overpass.
I was disappointed with the way the community was being treated over all of these proposals. I felt that the area needs new representation and have decided to run for Council in Division 1.
I feel that I can make a difference and would bring to Council my financial planning abilities and vision that long term planning for the area is needed.
I believe in regulated sustainable development and better fiscal management.
I believe that better co-operation with both State and Federal Governments will ensure that the State and Federal Governments meet their obligations to the people of this area.

• Extensive Financial Planning skills that will ensure the effective use of your rates having been an experienced Qualified Business Financial Planner
• Proven listening skills to hear and act on your concerns
• Successful business management skills having operated my own businesses for many years I WILL WORK TO:-
• Ensure this divisions financial share is maintained
• Plan my time to ensure I can attend all council meetings and not miss essential debates and decisions
• Plan my time to be able to listen and act for all in the community
• Respond to all community concerns raised directly with me
