Our compassion to this cause has been fueled by the terrible treatment we have received.

Candidate Profile Ron Green

My History

Myself and my wife are 4th generation locals of pioneers. We have 7 children and grandchildren.

I am just a normal person; a pick and shovel man. OPEN and GENUINE.

Earthmoving contractor, also sawmiller experience building. Built roads, done drainage, piping and pumping. The bulk of council works.

MOST MPORTANTLY, we have suffered and understand the hurt and damge of council persecution, discrimination, bullying and coldhearted arrogance. 

My Objectives

1. Arranging public meetings, to download council agenda off the web, properly discuss, and vote. The outcome relayed to me and that is how I vote, doesn't matter what I want but IT IS WHAT YOU WANT.

2. My greatest conviction. I will stick up for the individual AGAINST COUNCIL or other levels of government.

I work for you not the council without fear, favour or malice. Any of you, the least of you. If a council officer wrongs you, THEY WRONG ME.

I want lower rates, less red tape, don't need a flash car, can take a cut lunch and I want lower pay for councillors. I do not want a Taj Mahal for Council while roads are being neglected.

As we've gone through life, I have developed a strong interest and will to help those people who have not been treated well, including by governments. I guess this is a result of the poor treatment that my family has received from individuals, groups, government regimes and their agents.

For me, the best times in life are NOT when I'm given, but when I give.
