Three People I'd like to have to Dinner - and Why

  1. Nelson Mandela - because I would like to speak to him on how he maintains his energy levels and continually displays his integrity through his passion and spirit.
  2. Mikhail Gorbochev - because I would like to understand how he instigated reform at such a high level and because he is now a world leader in conservation issues.
  3. Charlie Musselwhite - because I'd like to learn the secrets of how to play the harmonica so well and he would have some blues stories to tell.

• Preparation of three Strategic Plans and numerous Town Plan Reviews
• Provision of innovative and ‘state of the art’ infrastructure for Water & Sewerage

My Objectives

I'm excited about what I know I can offer the people of the Sunshine Coast. I want to deliver a service oriented council not a regulatory or compliance based one.

I've long followed a common sense approach and I'm keen to apply that to my vision for the first Sunshine Coast Regional Council.

What I can share right now is that a vote for me will be a vote for a sustainable coast community and for sensible policy development in all council decisions.

My goal now is to ensure the Sunshine Coast develops into Australia’s first Sustainable Region as an example to all Australians.
